About the role:

You will be working in the community to support individuals to stay home and maintain independence. This role involves providing one-on-one care to clients, focusing on engagement and assistance with daily living tasks. You may be required to assist with personal care, community access, domestic assistance, and more.   • Current industry knowledge and skills
  • Strong understanding of the Aged Care and NDIS Standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Key requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or similar.
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current or willing to obtain Working With Children Card
  • Current or willing to obtain Manual handling certificate
  • Current Australian drivers licence and reliable car
Preferred Skills
  • Current or willingness to obtain medication qualification
  • Understanding of the local geographical area
