Job Description

The IT Incident Manager will oversee the resolution of ICT incidents from start to completion, ensuring high service availability through root cause prevention and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading major incident responses, coordinating technical teams to restore services swiftly in line with ITIL standards.
  • Monitoring incident trends and maintaining clear stakeholder communication.
  • Documenting and managing problems to resolution, ensuring permanent fixes and facilitating post-incident reviews.
  • Governing the Known Error Database (KEDB) and collaborating with change and release teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level IT incident and problem management functions.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4 practices.
  • Experience coordinating major incident response across technical and business teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead governance and continuous improvement activities in high-pressure ICT environments.
