This is a role at Q-CTRL, a leading quantum technology company in Australia, where you will be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of quantum technology. The company has grown rapidly and is expanding globally, with offices in Sydney, Los Angeles, and Berlin.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our People Operations team and help drive the day-to-day cadence of the team. As a People Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to continually improve the overall people experience of our employees, who are currently based in four different countries.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of progressive People experience, with a strong focus on performance management and employee relations. They will be able to decipher between what staff want and need, and shape solutions and an approach that strikes the best balance. Strong knowledge of HR systems and a passion for leveraging technology to improve people operations are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the day-to-day cadence of the People Operations team.
  • Own and continually evolve the global onboarding and voluntary offboarding process.
  • Provide support and guidance across the full employee lifecycle, and assist the People Operations Manager with employee questions.
  • Actively involved in managing staff performance, including owning the probation management process.
  • Own Learning & Development activities, and assist with coaching and upskilling of people managers.
  • Own our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and employee records.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of progressive People experience.
  • Experience with performance management and employee relations.
  • Heavy commercial focus and a proven track record of developing and implementing People programs that support business objectives.
