Job Opportunity for Chief Medical Imaging Technologist

The position of Chief Medical Imaging Technologist has become available in our radiology organisation, which prioritises clinical and patient excellence.

As we continue to grow and expand, this full-time opportunity exists for an inspiring leader who can motivate and develop our clinic team.

This role requires close collaboration with the Operations Manager, Clinical Director, and local team to strengthen our reputation and create a 'Centre of Excellence' by supporting the development of our personnel.

  • Proven experience as a leader is necessary, along with leadership qualities and proven experience in motivating and developing others.
  • Able to provide high-quality examinations to a broad range of patients, ensuring patient welfare and safety in accordance with established standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required to manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to use initiative and independent judgement, are essential.
  • Commercial acumen, with demonstrated awareness of how to optimise workflow and uphold patient quality care, is also required.
  • Relevant AHPRA and/or ASAR registration and Victorian Radiation Licence if applicable.
