Job Title: Mechanical Systems Installation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Systems Installation Specialist to join our delivery team. You will play a key role in the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on a high-profile rail facility project.

The ideal candidate will have experience in site engineering within infrastructure, building services, or mechanical works, with strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support for the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and efficiently.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation including method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and NCRs.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and report to senior engineers and project management.
  • Support quality assurance processes and drive compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • Previous experience in a site engineering role within infrastructure, building services, or mechanical works.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical construction methodologies and relevant Australian standards.
