Job Summary:

Seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our migration team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a similar role within the migration industry, strong technical knowledge of current Australian immigration laws and policies, and excellent customer service skills.

This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary package including performance bonuses.

Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our migration team, including carrying out legal research, general clerical duties, and maintaining client spreadsheets and information/records.

You will also interact with clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds, meet and greet clients as required, screen phone calls, book appointments, and liaise with external organisations/stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a similar role within the migration industry (REQUIRED)
  • Pursuing coursework to become a Registered Migration Agent (preferable)
  • Strong technical knowledge with respect to the current Australian immigration laws and policy
  • Experience working in a professional services environment
  • Strong customer service techniques
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team but also autonomously cater to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities and client expectations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • An energetic and creative personality, with a 'can-do' attitude
