Diesel Mechanic Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to fill a full-time position in North Mackay, AU. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of heavy diesel products and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products;
  • Diagnose and repair engines;
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components;
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning;
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation;
  • Assist with completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms.

Requirements:

  • Full Time / 38 hours per week;
  • Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours;
  • Local Valid Drivers License;
  • Qualifications in Health and Safety Fundamentals, Diagnostics Application, Electronic Service Tool Application, Engine Systems Interactions, Product Repair and Maintenance, Service Documentation, Technical Escalation, and Values differences.
