Heavy Diesel Mechanic Position

  • We are seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to fill the role of Heavy Diesel Mechanic in our Mackay location.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking skills to navigate complex technical issues in repair and maintenance services with minimal to zero rework.
  • This position requires relevant Australian trade qualifications or experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to move into mining and construction machinery industry.

About the Role

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring the highest level of safety culture is maintained and adhered to.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of mobile plant equipment fitting and Heavy Diesel mechanics.

What We Require

  • A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Experience and skillset in Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated work experience and technical knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and plan work fronts efficiently and effectively.
