Financial Fraud Investigator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced financial fraud investigator and transaction monitoring analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily analysis of anti-money laundering (AML) transaction alerts
  • Raising and assessing unusual activity referrals
  • Processing escalations
  • Completing additional AML duties in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Presenting improvement ideas
  • Interacting with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies, vendors, and banks, to action requests and validate information
  • Recommending risk ratings for high-risk customers
  • Understanding legislative requirements and policies in fraud control operations

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar fraud/AML/transaction monitoring role (6+ months) - essential
  • Austrack online experience - desirable
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflows
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong team player
