About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our team at Standards Australia. As a UI Designer, you will play a key role in creating user-centered design solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, User Experience, and Technology specialists to design and develop user interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, and on-brand.
  • Work closely with Product Management to revamp the Standards Australia Store, driving the transition from e-commerce single sales to a suite of subscription SaaS products.
  • Develop and maintain a design system that incorporates the revised brand identity and territories.
  • Translate high-level UX requirements into production-ready UI designs, supporting development teams during the build phase.
  • Embrace performance metrics and targets to drive design decisions.

About You

  • You have a minimum of two years of experience in UX and/or UI design.
  • You are proficient in industry-standard tools for designing and testing user interfaces, such as Figma.
  • You have experience working with project managers, business analysts, and developers.
  • You have experience working in agile delivery in a design role.
  • You are technically fluent in digital design, including social, web, mobile, and apps.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of working with engineering teams to deliver software.
  • You have demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • You have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
