Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a challenging role for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our organization and contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

About the Role

We are seeking an skilled Accounts Payable specialist to process invoices accurately, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments. This involves matching purchase orders with invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving payment issues. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and providing support for month-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable invoices from suppliers accurately and efficiently.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment issues.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and provide audit support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
