We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This permanent role involves designing, building and maintaining robust and scalable cloud platforms. As a key member of our development team, you will provide technical support and guidance to our teams, ensuring seamless operations and driving technical excellence within our organisation.

Your New Team:

You will be part of a dynamic and multicultural team consisting of 24 members, with your immediate team comprising of 6 colleagues. We value strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, fostering a collaborative environment where you'll engage with diverse projects and stakeholders across the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain scalable and robust cloud platform solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our development, testing and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure seamless platform operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of platform architecture and processes.
  • Engage in a diverse range of projects, adapting quickly to new challenges.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to complex technical issues.
  • Utilise AWS and Terraform for infrastructure management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar platform-focused role.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS and Terraform.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and provide leadership within a technical team.
  • Experience working effectively in a dynamic, multicultural team environment.
  • Desirable Bonus: A strong software engineering background and/or working understanding of cloud-based systems.
