Key Roles and Responsibilities

The primary goal of a Service Ambassador is to provide exceptional customer service and ensure guests have a memorable experience.

  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Greet guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide them with menus.
  • Take Orders Accurately: Describe menu items knowledgeably, answer questions, and take orders accurately, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Deliver Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure they are presented according to standard.
  • Check on Guests Regularly: Check in with diners regularly to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organisation: Keep the area clean and well-organised, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking.
  • Collaborate with Kitchen Team: Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
  • Process Payments: Present bills to guests and process payments accurately.
  • Upsell and Promote: Suggest additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guests' experience.
  • Handle Guest Requests: Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs to the best of your ability.
  • Follow Safety and Hygiene Protocols: Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role
