Overview
Support clients in living at home independently by assisting with daily tasks, such as cleaning, meal preparation and personal care. This is a rewarding role that involves traveling to visit clients around Ryde and surrounding suburbs.
Responsibilities- Assist with day-to-day tasks, including cleaning, tidying and washing
- Transport clients to appointments and shopping
- Prepare meals and provide social support or respite for family members/carers
- Provide personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
- Genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians
- Comfort interacting with a wide variety of people
- Good communication skills
- Reliable team player
- Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle
- Competitive hourly pay rate + km reimbursement
- Paid travel time

- Earn and learn – support to obtain a Certificate 3 in Individual Support with paid placement
