Domestic Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Support Worker to join our team in Sutherland, Sydney. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and their families by providing support with daily tasks and activities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will assist clients in maintaining their independence and well-being by performing various domestic tasks, including house cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. They will also provide emotional support and companionship to help build confidence and self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and well-being
  • Perform other tasks as required by the client or manager

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a non-judgmental attitude towards clients. You will also need to be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Police Clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation module
  • Working with Children Check
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Australian Driver's License
