Lifting Gear Inspector Role Overview:

This role is ideal for an experienced Lifting Industry professional who can develop strong client relationships, work autonomously, and ensure the safe operation of lifting and height safety equipment.

The successful candidate will inspect, repair, install and maintain new and existing lifting, rigging and height safety equipment to ensure compliance with Australian Standards.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs as required;">
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions;">
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and maintenance activities;">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • A minimum 2 years experience in the lifting and rigging industry;">
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills;">
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces;">
  • Current Driver's Licence;">
  • LEEA Team Card Holder (or equivalent);">
  • Forklift high-risk work licence; Safe working at heights ticket; Construction Induction Card (White Card); EWP ticket;">

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Industry-related training certificates;">
  • Previous experience with inspection and maintenance of lifting gear and equipment;">
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations related to lifting and height safety;">
