Job Role: Lift Technician

">Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lift Technician to join our global team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, modernisation and maintenance of lifts, escalators and travellators, ensuring adherence to the highest safety and environmental standards.

  • Install new equipment and modernise existing systems, working in accordance with relevant codes and standards, including SAA Lift Code AS1735 and AS3000.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with quality management systems, as per relevant lift industry codes and standards.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment and materials, and safeguard such property.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact the environment or employee safety.
  • Attend customer handover inspections and service inspections on installation and modernization projects as required.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Work in a collaborative manner to achieve project objectives and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in installation & adjustment of lifts / escalators / travelators and hold current electrical registration in Australia. They should also possess good command of the English language, both verbal and written, and an uncompromising attitude toward working safely.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
