Family Support Liaison

We are seeking a skilled Family Contact Worker to join our team in Baulkham Hills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting safe family contact for children in care.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families. If you have a passion for working with children and families, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport and supervise family contact visits autonomously.
- Write clear, detailed reports soon after each visit.
- Support care plans with Case Managers.
- Identify and report child protection concerns.
- Manage visits when not in the child's best interest.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Community Services (or related field) preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver's Licence, WWCC, First Aid & NDIS clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage conflict and work with diverse families.
- Understanding of child safety and car restraint laws.
- Must be available for a range of shifts.
