Advanced Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse to join our team at Mount Private Hospital in Perth, Western Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Provide person-centred care and ensure the highest standards of patient safety.
- Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses, graduates, students, and AINs/PSAs.
- Work effectively within an inter-disciplinary team and manage own workload and personal well-being.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement strategies to deliver desired outcomes.
- Participate in clinical auditing and quality assurance processes.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold current registration with AHPRA (essential).
- Have previous experience in Orthopaedics/Neurosurgery (essential).
- Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Implement quality and risk management strategies into daily activities.

About You
You will be a registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in general and/or urology. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a thorough understanding of patient care. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team.
