About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platforms Engineer to join our Etrading Ion team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our electronic trading platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using a broad range of tools and technologies
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance team efficiency and productivity
  • Mentor and lead junior team members to ensure their success and growth
Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with front-office trading systems, including ION Market View and Anvil
  • Confidently conceive and drive process improvements that add significant business value
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of various D2C and D2D bond, IRS, and repo markets and their operation
  • Ability to think outside the box and break boundaries to solve complex technical problems
