About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Operations team at x15ventures, a venture-scaler powered by Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing in-house Azure IaC platform stacks, helping our ventures implement and build on Azure platforms, and optimizing cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and high availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop in-house Azure IaC platform stacks
  • Help our ventures implement and build on Azure platforms
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and high availability
  • Develop proof of concepts and work with AWS cloud, application code, and scripting
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience with deploying and running applications on Azure
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IAC): using Bicep and/or Terraform
  • Experience with cloud well-architected frameworks
  • Understanding of networking, firewalls, and security architecture
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Strong skills and experience in at least one modern programming language preferably JavaScript/Typescript
