Pool Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled pool technician to join our facilities management team in Brisbane. This role involves maintaining the highest standards of pool and spa equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair filtration systems, hot and cold plunges, and float therapy pools.
  • Conduct regular water testing and balance pool chemicals to ensure safe and sanitary water conditions.
  • Perform backwashing, inspections, and maintenance of pumps, filters, and heaters to optimize performance.
  • Operate Brauer controller and chlorinator systems.
  • Clean and maintain drains to ensure proper water flow and system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment, piping, and water quality to prevent downtime.
  • Support broader facility maintenance needs, including minor repairs, basic plumbing, and upkeep of fitness equipment.
  • Identify potential issues and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and safety.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in pool and spa maintenance, including filtration and chlorination systems.
  • Strong knowledge of water testing and chemistry.
  • Physical fitness to handle equipment, maintenance tasks, and facility upkeep.
  • Ability to perform general handyman tasks as required.
