Venue Operations Manager

Take the lead in overseeing the day-to-day activities of a vibrant and dynamic food and beverage outlet operation in Cairns.

As Venue Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the ongoing success and growth of our venues, including Flynn's Italian and Boardwalk Social. You will work closely with our Kitchen team to ensure exceptional service standards, manage schedules and staffing levels, and promote marketing strategies to maximise sales.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Exemplify a high energy level and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service to guests and customers
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
  • Lead a passionate team by providing ongoing development and feedback
  • Manage schedules, staffing levels, and ensure proper coverage during peak hours
  • Foster a positive work culture by providing consistent feedback, coaching, and ongoing training to your team
  • Promote marketing strategies to drive sales

About You:

  • Demonstrate highly developed experience in large-scale pub, food hall, or high-volume venues
  • Exhibit strong organisational skills and leadership abilities
  • Adeptly maximise venue financial performance and showcase planning abilities
  • Assume accountability for high performance at all times and inspire small teams
  • Experience of rostering, identifying trends, working across recruitment and training, and ensuring exceptional operating standards is essential
  • You must have strong legislative and WHS controls
