Marketing and Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Marketing and Sales Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple departmental areas, including Claims, Customer Service and Sales & Marketing.
  • Open, sort and reprice claims, respond to customer inquiries and support the marketing department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in healthcare, especially with medical claims, is preferred.
  • Call center and/or receptionist experience is desirable.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm is necessary.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
  • Understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding is required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible team environment is crucial.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to take directions from a supervisor/lead as well as work autonomously is necessary.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills as necessary is vital.
  • Strong multi-task capabilities are required.
Working Conditions:
  • Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
