Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services to participants aged 0-8 in our NDIS division.

Your role will involve working with clients with varying complexity, communication and swallowing needs, over a period of months or even years. You will form close bonds with your clients, celebrate their achievements, and work together to meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Communication Assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop effective strategies for intervention.
  • Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments to assess the client's ability to swallow safely and efficiently.
  • Develop Mealtime Management Plans to ensure safe and efficient eating practices.
  • Assess Augmentative and Alternative Communication Needs to provide clients with alternative methods of communication.
  • Provide ongoing therapy sessions to support clients in achieving their goals.

Work Environment:

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and offices.

If you are a recent graduate or within your first 12 months of experience, you may be eligible for our six-month new graduate program. This includes reduced client hours, an allocated supervisor, weekly mentoring, graduate-specific training, and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Registration or ability to become registered with the relevant Speech Pathology Association.
  • A car and driver's license.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain it before commencement.
