
Facilities Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including compliance with regulations and procedures.
You will work closely with our Senior Facilities Manager to provide daily comprehensive facilities management, including vendor and relationship management, as well as delivery of services in accordance with our Management Agreement and company policies.
This is a varied and hands-on position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will interface with members from all levels of the organisation as well as the public.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with regulations and requirements of client contracts and site procedures.
- Develop and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded.
- Assist in delivering customer and property services across the portfolio.
- Conduct building inspections and complete associated reports within governance timeframes.
- Assist in administration and organisation of information for analysis and presentation to senior management teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Facilities Manager.
- A strong communicator with good presentation skills.
- Prior experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related fields.
- Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements and vendor management for specialised services.
- Understanding of basic technical aspects of property.
- Experience in minor projects including office relocations.
- Strong customer service focus with excellent people skills.
