Clinical Addiction Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Addiction Specialist to join our team at Corrections Victoria.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with alcohol and drug dependencies who are in contact with the criminal justice system.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with corrections staff and other stakeholders to deliver clinical interventions, conduct assessments, develop and maintain client records, and collaborate on effective client management.
You will be working in a dynamic and progressive field that prioritizes evidence-based practice and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical interventions to support clients with alcohol and drug dependencies
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with corrections staff and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:
- Minimum qualification in Certificate or Diploma IV AOD, Community Services or similar
- Relevant qualification in social work, a related human services discipline, criminal justice or criminology with work experience in a related field
