Social Procurement Framework Specialist

Gamuda Engineering, a reputable engineering and construction contractor, is expanding its presence in Australia with offices in Sydney and Melbourne. The company specializes in designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining transport, civil, and energy infrastructure projects.
As part of its growth strategy, Gamuda Engineering has secured major contracts, including the $2.16B Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package, the $1.35B Coffs Harbour Bypass, and the $1bn M1 Motorway Extension Southern Package. The company has also been shortlisted for several major transport infrastructure projects in Melbourne.
The Role
As a Social Procurement Framework Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing social procurement frameworks, strategies, and practices across our pre-contract activities and project delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that our frameworks, policies, and procedures are consistently implemented across our tendering and procurement processes.
- Providing procurement support and guidance to our pre-contract and delivery teams as a subject matter expert.
- Collaborating with our supply chain partners and key stakeholders to embed social procurement best practices in our supply chain.
- Monitoring and reporting on social procurement outcomes and KPIs.
Your Skills & Experience
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in procurement or supply chain management, supported by tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business Administration, Social Science, Sustainability, or similar. Key skills and qualifications include:
- A comprehensive understanding of managing social procurement outcomes on large and complex government-funded projects.
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and influence positive outcomes.
- Strong time management skills to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience in the construction and engineering sectors, with good relationships with key suppliers and partners in these sectors.
