About the Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager of Procurement, you'll be responsible for establishing and implementing procurement strategies, processes, and initiatives to ensure third-party risks are effectively managed across the procurement lifecycle. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the supply chain risk management and governance strategy for TPG Telecom suppliers.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development and implementation of the supply chain risk management and governance strategy for TPG Telecom suppliers.
  2. Ensure existing and new third parties comply with the Third-Party Risk and Governance policies, standards, and frameworks.
  3. Manage risk assessments for existing third parties, maintaining and refreshing them regularly in line with the Third-Party Risk Framework.
  4. Identify and manage new risks or changes to risks arising from procurement activities.
  5. Support supplier due diligence activities by collaborating with risk SMEs and assessing the materiality of identified risks.
  6. Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance programs as necessary.
  7. Develop and maintain fit-for-purpose third-party risk systems and processes, integrating with other procurement lifecycle systems.
  8. Prepare third-party risk reporting for senior management.
  9. Collaborate with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, WHS, and Technology Security to continuously improve the third-party risk management framework and processes.

Requirements

  1. Commercial degree or equivalent in a related field.
  2. Proven experience in risk management and relevant supporting tools, with a strong understanding of procurement-related risks and experience in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Professional certifications related to risk management are highly desirable.
  4. In-depth knowledge of third-party risk principles, standards, and regulations.
  5. Strong understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Initiative-taking and results-driven mindset, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
