Safety professionals with a passion for quality and compliance are sought to support our mission in health, safety, and quality across our extensive network of facilities.

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the management of policies, quality standards, and safety protocols. This includes assisting with policy reviews, ensuring staff are informed of new policies via internal platforms, and collaborating with various teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Management: Schedule policy reviews and keep staff updated on new policies via internal platforms.
  • Health and Safety: Administer Viva's Health and Safety systems, assist in internal incident investigations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and best practices.
  • Incident Close off: Work with the operational team to ensure all incidents are closed off with appropriate controls in place.
  • Quality Assurance: Support certifications to ISO standards and monitor compliance across various areas including quality, environmental, and information security standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in a Work Health and Safety (WHS) or compliance role.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or currently working toward).
  • A strong understanding of safety legislation, risk management, and auditing.
