Lead quality and safety initiatives in a busy ICU and PICU environment

The Icu/Picu Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in patient care by overseeing the Quality and Safety Portfolio within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

This position is central to ensuring that our intensive care services meet the highest standards of safety, clinical governance, and continuous improvement.

  • Review clinical incidents and transform data into meaningful actions that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Support and monitor improvement programs and ensure alignment with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
  • Prepare and facilitate ICU / PICU Clinical Quality and Patient Care meetings.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
  • Contribute to continuous learning and system improvement through audits, action planning, staff education, and accreditation preparation.

Act as a champion for quality and governance, influencing change and supporting innovation within one of the busiest critical care services in NSW.
