Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Safety professional to oversee all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) activities across New South Wales and Queensland. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation, and industry standards.

The Opportunity

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our operations. You will work closely with production teams, senior management, and customers to enhance safety and quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain ISO 9001 certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.
  • Manage quality assurance and control processes to minimize product impact and customer complaints.
  • Oversee incident reporting in the Visy Incident Management System (VIMS) and Noggin for safety and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct HSEQ audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve quality, reduce spoilage, and optimize held stock levels.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture through awareness programs and training.
  • Work closely with customers/suppliers to address concerns, ensure compliance, and support label development.
