We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at an Inghams Further Processing site in Central Coast, Australia. The successful candidate will support the Site Quality Assurance Manager by ensuring accurate and cost-effective food safety, animal welfare, and quality assurance monitoring and verification processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and lead and mentor quality control inspectors. This is an afternoon shift vacancy, hours are from 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing quality assurance systems and procedures
  • Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Investigating and resolving quality issues, including corrective actions
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure seamless quality integration
  • Maintaining accurate QA documentation, including reports and non-conformance records
  • Supporting internal and external audits as required

A suitable candidate will have experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in food manufacturing, and strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, quality management systems, and auditing.

In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in food manufacturing
