International Customs Clearing Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of international shipments through customs and regulatory processes. You will collaborate closely with our customers, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate efficient customs clearance operations and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities.
- Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues.
Key Requirements:
- Secondary Education or Equivalent: A secondary education or equivalent qualification is required.
- Experience in Customs: At least three (3) years of work experience in customs is necessary.
Favorable Qualifications:
- Customs Knowledge: Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance is essential.
- Cleared Software Skills: Proficient in customs clearance software and online customs portal is required.
- Office Suite Familiarity: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC is beneficial.
