Job Description

We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Service Support Employee. This role will involve supporting the operations within our kitchen, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our residents in accordance with our organisational mission.

The successful candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking within an Aged Care environment, with a demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions. They will be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts, including weekends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the kitchen operations to deliver high-quality services for residents.
  • Following cleaning guidelines and schedules for all equipment and working surfaces.
  • Applying safe manual handling and standard precautions in daily tasks.
  • Working independently and as part of a team, showing initiative as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in preparing and cooking within an Aged Care environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
