The role of Portfolio Management Specialist involves guiding the performance and strategic direction of a key portfolio component within our Commercial Insurance offering. This position requires working collaboratively with a team focused on sustainable growth, broker enablement, and platform innovation.

Key Responsibilities">- Analyse portfolio performance using internal and external data sources (Tableau dashboards, COGNOS and industry reports) to uncover actionable insights.
- Develop and drive clear proposals for portfolio improvements, including tactical and strategic pricing changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, Finance, Actuarial) to align initiatives with business strategy.
- Engage with external stakeholders such as distribution to enhance platform performance and broker connectivity.
- Deliver and monitor initiatives that drive profitability, ensuring benefits are realised and sustained.
- Create compelling data stories to communicate complex analytics to non-technical audiences.
- Maintain awareness of claim trends and risk profiles to inform portfolio decisions.
- Contribute to performance meetings with insights and updates on portfolio initiatives.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in General Insurance, preferably with an actuarial and/or analytics background.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Analytics, or Actuarial Science (desirable).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Proficiency in Tableau, COGNOS, and other business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling capabilities.
- Commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Curiosity and a mindset for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Familiarity with emerging AI technologies in insurance.
