Companionship Volunteer Opportunity

At HammondCare, we provide care and support to elderly individuals in need. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to visit an elderly gentleman on a regular basis, engaging in conversations, sharing stories, and building meaningful connections.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy interacting with people, are patient, and possess good communication skills. Your visits can help improve the quality of life and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.

As a Companionship Volunteer, you will:

  • Visit an elderly gentleman once a week or fortnight for an hour of companionship.
  • Share stories, laughter, and experiences with your visitor.
  • Engage in activities such as going for walks or participating in hobbies together.
