Make a Difference in Someone's Life

As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping older members of our community maintain their independence and wellbeing. Our home help services include general housekeeping, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping.

You will also provide personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting clients to take their medications, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs, and providing social and emotional support.

In addition, you will transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments and help family carers to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.

Requirements
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
