Job Description

Stir up some joy and add a dash of connection, one visit at a time

We're looking for a volunteer to visit a lovely elderly gentleman once a week or fortnight for an hour of companionship.

He would love someone to share stories, laughter, and perhaps a stroll around the local area together.

Apply now to make his week a little brighter with each meaningful visit.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care VolunteerVisitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established topromote links between elderly people and volunteers in their localcommunity.

Requirements

18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
•

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30 minute visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
