We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Specialist to join our team. As an experienced Animal Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our feline guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in day-to-day activities such as check-ins, check-outs, and providing top-notch care to our animals.
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff during examinations and procedures, handling and restraining animals with care and professionalism.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in animal housing areas, guaranteeing a comfortable and sanitary environment for our guests.
  • Nourish, groom, and exercise animals according to their individual needs and schedules, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Monitor animal health and behavior, promptly reporting any concerns to the veterinary team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians, prioritizing the safety and comfort of our animals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at reception, on the phone, and in-person, addressing client inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Engage with animals in play and enrichment activities, ensuring they remain stimulated and happy during their stay.
  • Document animal care, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and observations or concerns noted.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year's experience working in a professional animal care setting, preferably with cats.
  • Roster flexibility over four days, including weekends, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
  • A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering outstanding care to our furry guests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, interacting effectively with clients, colleagues, and animals of all temperaments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing a positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
