Animal Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an animal care professional.

The role involves working with dogs and cats, providing daily care and attention. This includes feeding and caring for animals, cleaning facilities and equipment, exercising animals and providing playtime, administering medication as required, interacting with customers and ensuring excellent customer service, and general hand duties and maintaining a clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feeding and caring for animals in a safe and healthy manner
  • Cleaning facilities and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
  • Exercising animals and providing playtime to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Administering medication as required, following established protocols and procedures
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in animal care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and move freely around the facility
  • Valid driver's license and confidence to drive a van
