Operational Manager Insurance

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a challenging position in operational management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing operational processes and controls, collaborating with third-party service providers to ensure seamless transitions to new operating models.
Key Responsibilities- Administer resolution or escalation of insurance incidents, ensuring member satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and root cause identification;
- Support team members in resolving complex insurance claims escalated by administrators/insurers, providing satisfactory resolutions to members;
- Contribute Subject Matter Expertise (SME) input on future change initiatives and system recommendations to optimize member experience and regulatory compliance;
- Promote holistic operational practices and process improvements through insurance product expertise.
- Tertiary education, preferably with specialization in finance, business, or law;
- Previous experience working within a super fund, insurance, trustee, or super administrator required - ideally 5+ years;
- RG146 Compliant;
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written;
- Effective project management skills and experience in delivering outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives preferred;
- Strong insurance expertise and understanding of remediation programs.
