As a skilled healthcare professional, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in need of care and support. The ideal candidate should possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge of nursing principles and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • React promptly to emergency situations and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Develop rapport with patients and colleagues through effective interpersonal skills.
  • Collect and analyze samples, perform laboratory procedures, and administer treatments as required.
  • Provide routine, urgent, and emergency care, utilizing your expertise and judgment to make informed decisions.
  • Triage patients and advise on scope of practice, ensuring that each individual receives appropriate attention and care.
  • Conduct vital sign checks, including blood pressure, weight, and EKGs, as well as collect urine and blood samples for analysis.
  • Manage documentation, including mail, lab, and x-ray reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain clinic standards for care delivery and promote a positive work environment.
  • Perform daily tasks, such as cleaning and disinfecting equipment and maintaining utility rooms, while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in Australia.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current CPR certification.
Work Environment:

The role will require working primarily in an indoor environment, with occasional outdoor duties. Extended periods of sitting and standing may be necessary, as well as bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
