About the Role
This rewarding position combines leadership, hands-on client engagement, and relationship-building across services. You'll mentor and lead a committed team of Support and Peer Workers, ensuring they have the resources they need to provide outstanding care.
Your Responsibilities
- Mentor and Lead – Provide guidance, coaching, and support to your team, fostering a safe and inclusive environment that values each member's strengths and contributions.
- Coordinate Services – Manage referrals, caseloads, and staff resourcing to ensure efficient time allocation and effective client support.
- Cultivate Partnerships – Develop strong relationships with external services, government bodies, and community groups to strengthen our support network.
- Engage Directly with Clients – Collaborate with individuals with complex needs, setting achievable goals and fostering hope through personalized support plans.
- Champion Inclusive Practice – Promote a culture of respect, compassion, and innovation, aligning with UnitingSA's values and enhancing lives within our communities.
Your Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Services (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, or similar) is essential for this role.
- You'll also need a current SA driver's licence, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
What We Offer
- An estimated salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
