Job Overview:

A Director of Enforcement position is available in a leading regulatory agency. The successful candidate will play a key role in detecting, deterring and disrupting criminal exploitation of the financial system.

About the Role:

The Director, Enforcement will lead the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures to regulate and enforce anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level leadership to enforcement teams to deliver agreed outcomes through building and maintaining a high-performing team with the appropriate capabilities and skill sets.
  • Lead internal and external experts outside of your team in complex investigations and litigation.
  • Exercise complex professional judgement in enforcement matters.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen at the time of application and undertake AUSTRAC's pre-engagement checks.
