Japanese Client Claims Professional

The primary objective of this role is to produce high-quality work products on Accident & Health Japanese client claims. This will be achieved through prompt and professional communication with customers, brokers, and the effective investigation, reserving, and adjustment of claims incurred by insureds.
This involves assessing claims in accordance with Chubb's service level and quality requirements and the General Insurance Code of Practice. Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of claims for Accident & Health Japanese client claims, assisting in the processing of other Retail claims as required, and communicating with brokers, claimants, and others as needed.
Additional key responsibilities include taking part in Claim Department and companywide training, responding to enquiries and escalations of matters from underwriters, brokers, and customers, and working with underwriters, the Compliance Department, and other departments of the company as needed.
The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, an understanding of insurance contracts, and knowledge of legal requirements and regulations. They will also possess negotiation skills, organisational skills, and the ability to participate in audits.
Fluency in Japanese is essential for this role.
Key Qualifications- Tertiary Qualified or 2-3 years similar work experience
