We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global manufacturing client.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a financial professional who is passionate about partnering with businesses to drive growth and improve financial performance. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial and commercial activities of our client's contract, including variance analysis, dynamic reporting, and budgeting.

You will work closely with our operations team and other stakeholders to provide analytical support and ensure that they have the necessary information to make informed decisions. Your strong communication skills and ability to build relationships will be essential in driving business results and achieving savings targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Ensure that the commercial schedules and scope of works in the contract are being adhered to. Produce, present, and execute contract variations and change requests.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead, coordinate, and present the annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles with local stakeholders while liaising with the APAC region team.
  • Accounting: Produce, review, analyze, and propose journals required to obtain accurate and timely monthly profit and loss statements for the account. Present the monthly financial performance to the CFO, Regional Finance Director, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification
  • Advanced Excel Skills and financial modeling capability
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Demonstrated Success in a Business Partner capacity managing multiple relationships
  • Outstanding Written and Verbal Skills
  • Flexible and Adaptable, with the ability to partner with internal stakeholders
What We Offer
