About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality nursing care to older adults.

You will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care to residents, acting as Team Leader, and working collaboratively with the personal care team.

  • Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Acting as Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Competent IT skills
  • A willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
