Disability Support Worker New South Wales Christmas Casual Positions

We have exciting opportunities to join our team of Casual Disability Support Workers to provide support during the upcoming Christmas period.

Casual hours are available in Bathurst NSW for Entry level or Experienced Disability Support Workers. These positions have potential for ongoing hours including Part-time Permanent positions, with career growth and progression opportunities. Training is provided for all new starters to ensure you feel comfortable and prepared for the role.

Significant availability during this Christmas period across days/nights, weekends and public holidays is a must. Generous penalties apply.

About The Role

Our Disability Support Workers (DSWs) provide direct support to individuals in day-to-day living and offer quality 24/7 care in supported independent living (SIL/Group Homes), ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

You will be providing domestic and personal care, and helping customers access and connect with the community.

What We Need From You
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
  • Smartphone
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
