The Nurse Educator – CAMHS position is a key role within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, responsible for developing, facilitating, and evaluating education and professional development strategies and programs.
This leadership position promotes excellence in clinical standards and quality of care through mentorship and role modelling. Strong partnerships are fostered with academic institutions, and research and evidence-based practice initiatives are actively supported.
Job Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and evaluate education and professional development strategies and programs.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff in their professional development.
- Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster strong partnerships with academic institutions to advance education and research.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to education and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a nursing education or training role.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and program evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
